CARLSBAD, California—Advanced Diabetes Supply (ADS), a national distributor of specialized diabetes supplies, has announced two new leadership appointments. Mike Diamond joins the company as the new vice president of enterprise architecture, and Larry Witte III has been appointed vice president of IT operations. The announcement was made by ADS CEO Bill Mixon.

An accomplished leader, architect, developer and mentor with more than 15 years of health care experience, Diamond’s career has included roles in publicly traded and private equity companies that spanned multiple vertical marketplaces. He most recently served as principle, vice president of technology services and principle consultant for MGSD Services and formerly served as vice president, enterprise architecture for ModivCare, Versant Health and HVHC, Inc. As VP of enterprise architecture for ADS, Diamond will be responsible for establishing and executing the company’s long-term technological approach.
Witte is an accomplished professional with extensive technology and healthcare expertise, specializing in IT operations and leveraging ITIL best practices in parallel with IT modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Witte previously served in leadership roles in both publicly traded and private equity companies including stints as vice president of technology support services at Modivcare, director of infrastructure support & services at Versant Health/Visionworks and director of infrastructure & support services at Hanger Inc. As VP of IT operations, Witte will oversee all aspects of ADS’s information technology policies and practices ensuring standards are met and privacy is prioritized.
