NEW YORK (November 28, 2017)—Alliance Homecare—a concierge home health care provider serving individuals and families in New York City, Long Island, Westchester and the Lower Hudson Valley, has announced the appointment of Patrick Gooney (of Brooklyn) as Director of Marketing. Gooney’s appointment comes in the midst of the company’s expansion to support Alliance Homecare’s new rebranding campaign launched in third quarter 2017.

Patrick Gooney joins Alliance Homecare with more than 25 years of combined corporate and agency marketing experience. His areas of expertise include employee and customer communications, sales and marketing, account management and client services. As Director of Marketing, Gooney is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s overall brand strategy, along with the marketing strategy for new and existing products and services. He oversees the implementation of all social media, marketing communications and direct mail programs, and works closely with Alliance’s expert sales team, providing strategic support.

Prior to Alliance Homecare, Gooney created marketing campaigns for some of New York City’s largest real estate developments, and was part of the sales team at the world-renowned Ritz-Carlton. He holds a BA in Communications with a specialization in public relations from Iona College.

“Patrick’s marketing background and business acumen are a new, valuable asset to the Alliance Homecare family,” said Greg Solometo, co-founder and CEO of Alliance Homecare. “Patrick steps into his new role at a pivotal time for our company as we reinvent what it means to care for the aging population. He plays a critical role in helping to tell our tale through a multitude of channels that reach our key stakeholders.”

Announced earlier this summer, Alliance Homecare’s new integrative approach includes three streamlined services levels and the provision of multiple complimentary screenings in interdisciplinary areas. The company has also hired seventeen new staff members, including nine in their Clinical & Care Management Team, to support the initiative—including the introduction of a new role, Alliance Care Ambassadors.

“Our Care Ambassadors are the answer to the question ‘who cares for the caregiver?,’” said Solometo. “They serve as a much needed advocate for the home health aide, closely monitoring activity, providing support, and planning ahead to identify problems before they arise. We see this role as absolutely essential in the evolution of the home health care model and are committed to leading the way.”
