PHOENIX (August 7, 2015)—The Arizona Medical Equipment Suppliers Association (AZMESA) continued to show its growing strength this past week with record attendance at its highest rated 2015 AZMESA Conference held in Phoenix on August 6th, and with the addition of four new members in the last month growing its membership for the fifth consecutive year.
“I am very grateful to have a strong and dedicated board of directors and a very supportive group of Associate Members here in Arizona.” said AZMESA Executive Director, Rose Schafhauser. “Our membership is becoming stronger and more active at all levels and it showed this year in our record turnout for the highest rated AZMESA Conference ever held. I am very proud of our AZMESA Members,” said Schafhauser.
AZMESA now represents 44 companies in Arizona with 80 member contacts and is continuing to work its way to the next level of size and action. “We are getting there,” said Schafhauser, “at 44 members we are still a small association, but we are seeing more and more interest and recognition here in Arizona from providers who are still telling us they did not know we were here. We still have work to do and we are aggressively moving to attract a larger number of providers in the state.”
The AZMESA Conference held August 6th attracted a record number of people to the event with 65 people filling the ballroom in Phoenix. “We had a really outstanding lineup with John Gallagher, Jay Witter, Miriam Lieber and Maria Markusen,” said Schafhauser. “Our Sponsor support was wonderful and allowed us to really bring in the big names to a smaller venue and it paid off with record attendance and resulted in the highest rated AZMESA Conference on record with a rating of 3.95 out of a possible 4.0.”
