CASPER, Wyoming—Banner Health announced the opening of its first home medical equipment clinic in Wyoming. Banner Home Medical Equipment (HME) is staffed with a licensed respiratory therapist, delivery technician, patient service representative and operations manager. Additionally, Banner HME has medical equipment in stock and available for delivery to patient homes or care facilities.
The clinic, located on C Street and Yellowstone Highway, held a ribbon cutting and open house, allowing the public to learn more about Casper’s HME options, including portable home oxygen, durable medical equipment and home therapeutic devices. Banner HME works directly with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab facilities, sleep labs and provider offices to ensure the appropriate equipment is available.
As a community health partner, Banner HME aims to treat patients in an efficient, safe manner. The clinic’s products promote healing while keeping patients safe, comfortable and reducing their risk of rehospitalization. In addition to delivery, Banner HME offers in-home set-up and education, ensuring patients and their loved ones are comfortable operating their new devices, the company said.
