Guiser will collaborate with the CEO to further carry out the company's vision

ANTIOCH, Tennessee—ClearWellness, a provider of technology-based wellness services, enabling seniors to maintain their independence and health status, recently welcomed Gary Guiser as its new president and COO.

In this role, Guiser will collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to further define and carry out the company’s vision, mission and long-term growth strategy. Additionally, Guiser will develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals, including market entry, product development and customer acquisition.

Guiser joins ClearWellness at a pivotal time. The service, which combines wellness coaching with automated wellness tracking tools, is expanding into the senior homecare market with several homecare providers already joining as partners. Plans are also underway to take the offering to managed care organizations and physician practices.

Guiser brings more than two decades of experience leading tech-enabled, human-powered health and social care organizations. He has held roles with organizations that deliver health and wellness solutions to seniors, disadvantaged individuals and caregivers.

Most recently, Guiser served as founder, president and CEO of Confluence Health Services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he advised health care businesses and private equity investors on commercial development initiatives. Among his accomplishments, he helped triple the revenues of one client over three years and assisted another in acquiring a tech-driven virtual chronic care management company, adding significant value to their portfolio. Guiser also spent more than a decade in C-level roles for companies in the senior care market, affiliated with organizations such as Care.com and the National Council on Aging.

“It’s a privilege to step into this role at ClearWellness," Guiser said. "I have spent my entire career devoted to finding innovative ways for seniors to successfully age in place and the disadvantaged to be fully functioning in their communities. I am excited to join ClearWellness and continue this mission together with our business partners”.

At ClearWellness, Guiser will focus on empowering seniors to take control of their wellness journey. Many of these individuals live independently, but face loneliness and family who live far away. Wellness Coaches build relationships with the older adult and keep family members informed and engaged through smart technology that monitors the health status of their loved one.

“Gary is a leader in the senior care and age-tech space,” said Robert Rae, CEO of ClearWellness. “With years of experience as a strategic client relationship partner in long-term care, in-home health and managed care services, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in virtual care delivery platforms and senior wellness. We are thrilled that he joins us in our mission to help older adults continue to live independently as they age.”
