WATERLOO, IOWA (February 18, 2016)—Planning is well underway for Essentially Women’s annual education conference and trade show.
Focus: The EW Conference, will take place September 25-26 at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The two-day Focus Conference will provide EW members with continuing education and training opportunities, resources to improve operational efficiencies as well as connect women’s health care professionals, industry consultants and vendors.
“We’re excited to bring together our members and vendors in scenic Myrtle Beach,” said Melinda Smith, manager of membership services for Essentially Women. “With the additional resources and experience that the VGM team has to offer, conference attendees can expect enhanced exhibits, additional education sessions and networking opportunities; all in a fabulous setting.”
This past January, following the merger of Essentially Women with VGM Group, Inc., it was decided to move the Focus Conference from spring to fall. According to Christa Miehe, president of Essentially Women, the change was made to allow time for a seamless transition and rebranding of the event.
“VGM and its family of companies are famous for their hometown hospitality, attention to detail and exceptional customer service,” said Miehe. “By moving Focus to the fall, our events and education team have more time to utilize these strengths to enhance the conference for the mutual benefit of Essentially Women’s members and participating vendors.”
Featuring Midwest hospitality at its finest, VGM is no stranger to planning education conferences. Each June VGM host more than 1,000 guests in its hometown of Waterloo, Iowa during the annual Heartland Conference.
Registration for Focus: The EW Conference, will open for attendees and exhibitors in April. For more information about EW, visit them online at EssentialyWomen.com.
