—Via NAHC, WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 13, 2017)—The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is looking for volunteers to help create the organization's education curriculum in home health and hospice for its annual 2018 conference.
Did you attend the Home Health and Hospice Conference & Expo in Long Beach, California in October? NAHC made significant changes to the education curriculum. The organization reduced the number of overall classes to make attendance more manageable and focused more on the topics members said they wanted to see. Changes were based on recommendations made by NAHC members, volunteers who wanted to help ensure quality education content.
To make the 2018 annual conference even better, NAHC needs educational committee volunteers to report what they want and need to learn, to help shape the content of the sessions that will be featured during the October 7–9, 2018 conference in Grapevine, Texas, at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center.
The organization is looking for broad geographic representation, voices from both small and large corporate agencies, and consultant viewpoints that can help point to popular areas of concern. Input, whether it is executive, administrative, clinical and/or other “boots-on-the-ground” caregiving provider perspectives, will help drive the courses that will be produced.
