Organization also seeks to expand Board of Directors

ROCHESTER, New York—The National Coalition for Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART) has announced that Mickae Lee of Permobil and Larry Jackson of Sunrise Medical have joined the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors as president and treasurer respectively. In addition, John Miller of Miller’s Rental and Sales and Michael Barner of the University of Michigan have completed their terms on the Executive Committee but will remain on the board.

NCART, a non-profit organization of suppliers and manufacturers of CRT products and services, advocates and educates to protect access to Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT). The board’s role is to provide guidance and a long-term strategic vision for the organization.

“NCART would like to thank Johnny and Mike for all their years of service on the NCART Executive Committee,” said Wayne Grau, NCART executive director. “While we will miss their insight on the Executive Committee, we look forward to their continued board membership. We welcome Mickae from Permobil as the new president and Larry of Sunrise Medical as our treasurer.”

Lee currently serves as senior manager of government affairs for Permobil. Jackson serves as president of Sunrise Medical North America.

Grau also announced that the NCART Board has agreed to expand its board by two members from 15 to 17.

“As our organization’s membership continues to grow, the expansion of the board represents our commitment to deliver results for all the complex rehab companies we serve,” said Grau.
