BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (January 4, 2021)—Numotion, a national provider of products and services that help enable mobility, health and personal independence, has acquired Wheeler’s Medical Supply, a well-respected provider of intermittent catheters and incontinence supplies based in Jacksonville, Florida with a presence in Georgia. This latest acquisition from Numotion expands its existing medical supplies business that is focused on providing high-quality, innovative, disposable medical supply solutions that meet the mobility and lifestyle needs of its customers.
“Growing Numotion’s medical supplies offering with the addition of the Wheeler’s team enables Numotion to more comprehensively serve the needs of an expanded customer base and allows us to continue to empower people to actively participate in everyday life,” commented Numotion’s CEO, Mike Swinford. “Wheeler’s has a track record of exceptional customer service and our goals in serving customers align in a way that makes this acquisition a natural step on our path to serving the needs of more customers.”
The founder of Wheeler’s, Donald Moran III commented, “The culture at Numotion is clearly one of caring for customers, and I wanted to not only partner with a company that shared my philosophy, but join my business with a family of experts who can support a wide range of independence needs. My whole premise in starting Wheeler’s was to make sure that nobody goes without supplies. Numotion shares a similar view and brings a broader portfolio of products and services. Our customers can expect the same level of dedication we have always provided, but now with the strength and size of Numotion behind them.”
Wheeler’s Jacksonville location will be Numotion’s sixth branch in Florida and brings additional resources and expertise to its national footprint for medical supplies. Numotion’s medical supplies division provides an extensive portfolio including catheters, incontinence, ostomy, and advanced wound care products from all major manufactures. Numotion product specialists determine a unique medical supply solution customized for each customer and is in-network with over 2,000 health plans, Medicare and Medicaid.
