ROLLA, Missouri—Phelps Health Home Health and Hospice, an accessible health care provider, has been recognized by Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) as a “superior performer” for achieving an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20% of all eligible SHP clients for the 2023 calendar year.
The annual “SHPBest” award program acknowledges home health agencies that provide quality service to their patients. The 2023 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction scores of more than 3,200 home health providers.
SHP helps identify and recognize organizations that have made patient satisfaction a priority and aims to reward their efforts with high marks on the Home Healthcare Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) survey.
Phelps Health serves over 200,000 residents in south-central Missouri. The company employs more than 1,900 people, including more than 100 providers.
“This award is a true reflection on the quality care and excellence the Home Health team provides,” said Tabatha Ransom, director of Phelps Health Home Health and Hospice. “We are privileged to have a team who believes in our mission, vision and values. Thank you, patients, for taking the time to fill out the survey, providing us with invaluable feedback.”
“SHP is proud to partner with so many organizations that put a high value on providing quality patient care,” said Kevin Vogel, president of SHP. “We are honored to recognize the hard work and dedication of our top-performing customers with the annual SHPBest awards. These organizations deserve to be celebrated for their commitment to achieving new levels of excellence each and every year.”
