DURYEA, Pennsylvania—Quantum Rehab released the Quantum Outback, the company’s new four-wheel, all-terrain power chair. The chair, which was inspired by a joint development effort with the company’s Australian subsidiary, aims to provide users with outdoor use and improve outdoor driving experiences.
The Outback features:
- Four-pole motors
- Camouflage color choices
- Full LED lighting packages
- Smooth ride suspension
- Improved driving performance and ride quality
- Stability for smooth obstacle transitions
- Optional 10-inch power adjustable safe seat elevation at speeds of up to 3.2 mph
- Back-up camera
The chair includes the company’s smooth ride suspension technology, which intends to offer stability and increased sitting tolerance. The chair aims to provide a comfortable ride, even when navigating rugged terrain. Additionally, it offers the company’s “Q-Logic 3e” controller and lighting package. The chair has a top speed of up to 5 mph with an optional 6 mph package available, or 3.2 mph when elevated. The unit is compatible with the company’s USB charger and back-up camera.
