LOS ANGELES (October 13, 2016)—The BOUNDER Plus H-Frame power wheelchair provides high performance and off-road capability. The standard Super Torque 3 motors deliver top speeds as fast as 11.6 mph. ATV style 14”x5.40 low pressure tires and powerful ST4 motors installed with the optional off-road package provide excellent all-terrain performance. The optional Independent Drive Wheel Suspension improves ride quality and maintains traction on uneven surfaces. The BOUNDER Plus H-frame power wheelchair is manufactured in the United States by 21st Century Scientific Inc.
The H-style base frame uses 2.5”x1.5”x0.125” wall steel and is TIG welded for uncompromising strength and durability. Adjustable Suspension Forks made of ¼-inch thick steel and utilizing a 1-inch diameter stem, provide impact dampening and seat tilt adjustment. Group 24 or Group 27 batteries are typically installed, but for ultimate range, a 24V 100Ahr Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 battery can be installed providing a real-world driving distance of up to 55 miles on a charge. A sliding battery box provides easy battery maintenance. 9” x 3.50” front casters and 12.75” x 4.00” drive wheels are standard. Drive tires are available in either a smooth or knobby tread in gray or black. Built-in LED taillights turn on and off with chair power for added safety. Programmable UE1H electronics provide 6 drive choices and a battery condition meter. A smart electric brake release switch offers easy pushing of the chair by an attendant.
Power seating options include one of the highest power seat elevators with 13 inches of elevation, power standing, power recline, power tilt and dual independent power elevating leg rests or a power elevating, articulating, center-mount footboard. A power front load system moves the seat from the normal driving position forward and close to the ground for easy transfers. All power seating systems can be proportionally controlled through the joystick. Accessories include a bright LED lighting package, loud safety horn, electric leg bag emptier and rearview mirror.
