BLOOMFIELD, Iowa/ANAHEIM, California—Rolko North America, Inc., a subsidiary of Rolko Kohlgruber GmbH, a manufacturer and supplier of components and accessories for the mobility market, and MK Battery, a supplier of batteries to the home medical equipment (HME) industry, have inked a comprehensive agreement for MK to provide warehousing, logistics, distribution and route delivery services to support Rolko’s line of components for wheelchairs and rehabilitation equipment.
“We are very excited about this association that now provides enhanced, more efficient and cost-effective customer access to our products," said Mark Chelgren, president of Rolko North America.
Under this arrangement, MK Battery will stock Rolko products and make them available via its nationwide order processing and route delivery system. MK customers will be able to add accessories such as wheels, tires, seatbelts, armrests, etc. onto their battery orders.
“Our route delivery fleet is already servicing HME providers throughout the country, and this addition of complementary, high-quality products will provide our customers with the same level of service on wheelchair parts and accessories that they have come to expect when purchasing our batteries," MK Battery President, Wayne Merdinger said.
Rolko products are now available for purchase via MK Battery’s customer service order entry process, with select items available for local route delivery where available.
