The "SmartQR" Pages self-service tool aims to improve the experience of durable medical equipment providers & their customers

ORLANDO, Florida—Serious ERP, a business management and software solutions company, announced the upcoming launch of their “SmartQR” Pages, a self-service tool that aims to help durable medical equipment (DME) and home medical equipment (HME) providers deliver customer support. SmartQR Pages seeks to allow DME and HME providers to tag equipment with a simple QR code, which would give customers instant access to equipment guides, training documents, how-to videos and more. SmartQR Pages intends to offer 24/7, on-demand access that encourages customers to solve issues independently and reduce support calls.

Available through the Serious ERP platform, SmartQR Pages aims to reshape how DME and HME businesses support their customers.

“We created SmartQR Pages to not only equip health care workers with immediate answers, but also allow our DME and HME clients to focus their resources on growth and service quality instead of routine support calls,” said Orestes Rivero, CEO of Serious ERP. “Many equipment problems can be solved by simply pressing the right button, so we wanted a way to let our clients communicate that before the problem is escalated to a call or service order. It’s a huge time saver for everyone involved.”

The company said that 67% of its customers prefer using a form of self-service over speaking to a customer care representative. As a result, the company seeks to offer DME and HME providers an efficient experience that directly benefits their operations, as well as the operations of their clients.

SmartQR Pages is one of many features that is a part of the company’s latest software update. These new features aim to reinforce the platform’s advancements efforts for DME and HME solutions.
