FRISCO, Texas—Soleo Health, a national provider of complex specialty pharmacy services, announced the appointment of Jason Weems as the newly created chief information officer (CIO) position.
In his role as CIO, Weems will lead Soleo Health’s technology and digital strategy, and enhance experiences for patients, providers, payers, manufacturers and employees. Additionally, Weems will oversee initiatives aimed at integrating technology solutions, optimizing patient and provider engagement and improving service delivery across the organization.
Weems has more than 25 years of health care information technology experience, including senior leadership roles at Cigna and Evernorth, where he worked to improve technology innovation efforts across patient care and pharmacy business segments. Over the course of his career, Weems has managed digital-first engagement strategies for virtual and onsite care, which aim to enhance patient experiences across the health care spectrum.
Before this role, Weems held senior leadership positions at Express Scripts and Citi, where he developed strategies to improve technology-driven solutions across complex care environments.
