Previously the VP of strategic business development, Caputo has more than 25 years of experience in the HME space

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania—sovaSage, a privately held company specializing in AI-based software and services for the management of obstructive sleep apnea, announced the promotion of Jamie Caputo to vice president of sales.

In 2020, sovaSage introduced its AI-based software platform designed to select and fit the optimal PAP mask for OSA patients. In early 2023, the company introduced TherapistAssist Jeanie. Jeanie is a virtual sleep coach, available, 24/7/365, a PAP compliance management platform, augmented with live support sleep coaches and respiratory therapists.

This offering has been adopted in the home medical equipment (HME)/durable medical equipment (DME) industry in the U.S., and Caputo has played a key role in driving its rollout.

“Our customers/partners are witnessing tremendous workflow efficiencies, which have enabled them to scale, allowed their respiratory therapists to spend more time on valuable patient care, and improved overall patient compliance,” said Caputo, previously VP of strategic business development.

sovaSage announced that Caputo will now be responsible for all sales activities at the company.

“Jamie’s extensive experience in PAP compliance management and resupply, his over 25+ years in HME, and his well-established relationships from previously leading the Philips PAMS and medSage programs have proven invaluable,” said, co-founder and CEO of sovaSage, William Kaigler.

In his new role, Jamie will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, across all products and markets for sovaSage.

“I am excited to have Jamie take on this new leadership role and help sovaSage help our customers continue to improve the lives of their patients," Kaigler said.
