Prior to his new role, Adam Miller was president of OPGA

WATERLOO, Iowa—VGM & Associates announced the appointment of Adam Miller as the new vice president of government relations.

Before this role, Miller was president of The Orthotic and Prosthetic Group of America (OGPA), a division of VGM & Associates. As vice president of government relations, Miller aims to lead the strategic engagement of VGM communities and align policy and practice with national initiatives. In his new role, he seeks to maximize member presence and impact and advance policy agendas at both state and national levels, the company said. Additionally, he will assist the company in interpreting legislative and regulatory initiatives within the health care industry, while providing research, writing and educational support to VGM members.

“From the very beginning of my time at VGM, I have had the privilege to travel across the country with and learn from VGM’s government relations team,” said Miller. “I have had a front row seat to the power of advocacy and the passion of VGM members in all the industries we serve. I am excited and humbled to transition to the role of VP of government relations and directly join the fight alongside our members.”

“(Miller) has been a strong advocate in the orthotics and prosthetics space and has represented the industry and VGM very well in Washington, D.C.,” said Ike Isaacson, senior vice president of government and regulatory relations at VGM. “Adam brings a strong passion for the home health care industry and a desire to promote and enhance our members’ ability to support those they serve.”
