Burlington, ONTARIO—VGM Canada announced the finalists for the third annual Canadian home medical equipment (HME) Woman of the Year Award.
The three finalists are Stacey Burnett, regional manager of Motion Specialties; Brenlee Mogul-Rotman, national clinical and technical education manager for Permobil; and Tammy McDowell, home health care manager for Boggio Family of Pharmacies.
The winner of the 2024 Canadian HME Woman of the Year Award will be announced during the opening remarks at the Canadian Seating and Mobility Conference (CSMC) on Sept. 10.
“We are incredibly excited to present the third Canadian HME Woman of the Year Award to one of these outstanding finalists,” said Dave Davies, president of VGM Canada. “Each of these women deserve recognition for the amazing impact they have made to their communities, companies and the HME and mobility industry. The finalists were selected by the Canadian HME Woman of the Year selection committee, which is made up of HME and mobility industry professionals. Committee members include Shelley McGrath, national sales manager for Etac North American Mobility; Cindy Wickens, partner of Xperience Home Healthcare; Janice Edwards, business development manager at Harding Medical; and Jeremy Smith, part-owner of Premium Mobility Products.
The Canadian HME Woman of the Year Award is open to all women who work in the HME industry in Canada. Nominators are encouraged to provide examples of how nominees have contributed to serving patients, communities, businesses and the HME and mobility industry.
