Southfield, Mich.

Arcadia Resources continues to expand with the opening of six additional Arcadia Home Medical Supply centers inside Wal-Mart stores in Florida, New Mexico and Texas.

The locations, acquired from Companion Health Services, will join Arcadia's St. Petersburg, Fla., Wal-Mart center, which opened in August. The new stores are located in Boynton Beach, Bradenton, Hialeah and Pompano Beach, Fla.; Midland, Texas; and Albuquerque, N.M.

The stores provide respiratory equipment, including sleep apnea equipment and nebulizers, and more than 1,000 home patient items and mobility devices including wheelchairs and scooters, bath safety products, adjustable beds and other DME.

Last October, the company opened similar centers in six Sears stores in the Detroit area and also offers non-urgent medical care in Meijer locations in Michigan and Indiana.

Arcadia posted $105.3 million in revenues in 2005 and has made more than 20 acquisitions within the past two years.
