Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Inogen, Inc. has announced that Joseph Lewarski, RRT, has been named vice president of clinical affairs. Lewarski is currently the Homecare Section Chair for the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), serves on the board of AARC, is active within the American Association for Homecare and was recently named to JCAHO's Home Care Advisory Committee for Home Medical Equipment. In addition to his interaction with members of the home care industry, Lewarski will interface with physicians, professional medical associations and government health care groups to help promote and advance home respiratory care and medical services.

Dave Schleif has been appointed director of operations for Home Care Medical, a New Berlin, Wis., provider of HME and supplies, infusion therapy and respiratory care. Before joining the company, Schleif served as sales leader, western region, and organization development and training leader for Enerpac in Milwaukee.

Mark Haynes has been named national sales director for Suffern, N.Y.-based Blue Chip Medical Products, a manufacturer of therapeutic support surface products. He is responsible for managing Blue Chip's sales force, national accounts as well as cultivating end-user agreements. He will also oversee sales activity within Blue Chip's sister company, Crown Medical Products, which manufactures wheelchair cushions, wedges and other positioning products.

Julian Green has been named executive vice president of Rose Health Care, a Brunswick, Ga.-based importer and manufacturer of home health products.

Claude Buckles has been appointed North American director of sales for Kinnelon, N.J.-based Medcare. Previously, Buckles served as the North American sales manager for the Sandman Sleep Diagnostics Division of Tyco Healthcare. Prior to joining Sandman, he was director of Mid-Atlantic regional sales for Sunrise Medical/DeVilbiss Healthcare.

David C. Martin has been named president and CEO of LiftAid Transport LLC, a Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based manufacturer of patient lifts. He was most recently president of PentaCom, which organized media planning and buying for DaimlerChrysler.
