Reps. John Tanner, D-Tenn., and David Hobson, R-Ohio, will kick off Medtrade 2007 with a video keynote address on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 a.m. in Room W/110 A/B of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The two legislators are authors of H.R. 1845 — known as the Tanner-Hobson bill — which would alter the competitive bidding program to ensure beneficiary access and allow all qualified providers to participate in Medicare at the bid rate.
