RICHMOND HILL, N.Y. (November 2, 2021)—AlayaCare, a global homecare software company, announced it has acquired Delta Health Technologies, a provider of specialized home health solutions. The acquisition of Delta Health Technologies extends AlayaCare’s position as a leading provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology in the U.S. home health market. This is a major development in AlayaCare’s commitment to make in-home care a more connected and integrated part of the healthcare continuum.
“Delta Health Technologies adds an exciting new scope to the future of the AlayaCare platform and services, fuelling our push towards bridging the gap between homecare and home health care in all markets, which has always been a key part of the AlayaCare mission,” said Adrian Schauer, CEO of AlayaCare. “The Delta Health Technologies team brings a breadth and depth of home health market expertise to our organization. We look forward to building upon their successful legacy by developing best-of-breed home health and hospice solutions, as well as improving the exchange of healthcare data across the continuum.”
Through this acquisition, AlayaCare gains 100+ new customers and more than 45 new employees who will help provide a foundation and blueprint for AlayaCare’s ongoing product development into the home health and hospice sectors.
To help providers focus on delivering the best possible patient care, Delta Health’s solutions, AppointMate and Crescendo, deliver functionality that optimizes resource management, billing, and clinical point of care for home health, hospice and private duty providers.
The post-acute care market, providers, and most importantly, care recipients have strongly expressed the need for interoperability where post-acute care is delivered in an end-to-end platform supporting personal care, nursing, allied health and home infusion. According to a recent survey, 95% of providers say they believe interoperability is crucial.
“Delta Health shares AlayaCare’s mission to empower care providers to achieve better health outcomes by delivering transformative technology and data insights,” said Tony Ott, CEO of Delta Health Technologies. “Their proven track record of success in-home care reflects our commitment to helping agencies deliver the best possible care more efficiently and profitably, and we’re excited to combine our expertise and solutions to support our clients in new and innovative ways.”
