AGOURA HILLS, Calif. (August 21, 2019) – Casamba, a provider of electronic medical record (EMR) solutions for contract therapy providers, skilled nursing facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and outpatient therapy, today announced the launch of Casamba HomeTherapy.
Fully-integrated into the Casamba Skilled EMR, HomeTherapy allows contract therapy providers, clinicians and home health agencies to stay connected, input e-referrals and share all rehab-related patient information on a single portal. Data in HomeTherapy is shared seamlessly across all Casamba Skilled applications ensuring accuracy of payroll, billing, reporting and other back office functions.

The company has been beta testing HomeTherapy with Louisville-based Paragon Rehabilitation since February. During that time, Paragon realized significant time savings with clinical documentation as well as improved communication effectiveness with their home health agency client.

In the weeks ahead, Casamba will add additional features to HomeTherapy in preparation for the new PDGM payment model. The company notes these features will allow therapy providers to track functional outcomes, demonstrating clinical value to home health agencies through various analytics tools.
The introduction of HomeTherapy comes on the heels of the successful rollout of Casamba Analytics. Analytics, another feature for Casamba Skilled customers, provides transparency into the health of clinical operations by leveraging an organization’s historical data.
