CARY, N.C. (March 2, 2021)—Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) reaffirms its status as a national leader in home health accreditation with its recent renewal as an approved accreditor for Medicare providers by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
The CMS approval extends ACHC’s authority to conduct deemed status surveys that meet or exceed Medicare requirements. Achieving ACHC Home Health Accreditation certifies that providers meet the Medicare Conditions of Participation.

ACHC’s renewal as an approved accreditor is valid for four years. ACHC has been recognized by CMS to conduct deemed status home health surveys since 2006.
