Trisha Crissman becomes president & CEO of CommonSpirit Health at Home

LOVELAND, Ohio—CommonSpirit Health at Home, a nonprofit health system, has appointed Trisha Crissman as president and chief executive officer. Crissman has served as interim president of CommonSpirit Health at Home since Oct. 2023.

Before her role as interim president, she served as vice president and chief operating officer (COO) for CommonSpirit’s home health and hospice division. In addition to her role at CommonSpirit Health at Home, Crissman serves on the board of the recently formed NAHC-NHPCO National Alliance for Care at Home.

Before joining CommonSpirit in 2015, Crissman served as vice president, hospice division for AccentCare and vice president, hospice division for Great Lakes Caring. Her work in these roles resulted in company improvements such as financial performance, growth, engagement, quality outcomes and patient experience.

“I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve in this expanded role, to advocate for and champion the highest levels of quality care in the home across the country and to strive to care for more people in need of our specialized services each and every day, especially for those who are most vulnerable in our society,” said Crissman. “As a part of CommonSpirt Health, I am committed to finding meaningful ways to leverage our organization's size, scale and expertise to positively impact our industry’s influence and decision-making at the most important levels, both in Washington D.C. and in our local hometowns.”

“Trisha’s leadership has been instrumental in Health at Home’s success, and she will continue to drive growth, performance, innovation and strategic direction for CommonSpirit Health at Home as she takes on this new role,” said Terika Richardson, senior vice president and COO of CommonSpirit Health.

Crissman’s vision and leadership will help the organization focus on expansion opportunities, identifying areas to expand within the post-acute care business and engaging high-performing teams to serve vulnerable populations, the company said.
