SPRING HOUSE, Pennsylvania—The Compliance Team (TCT), a nationally recognized, CMS-approved health care accreditation organization, celebrates 30 years of optimizing health care delivery and patient outcomes with its proprietary Exemplary Provider Accreditation and Certification Programs.
Since forming The Compliance Team in 1994, Sandra Canally, RN, founder and CEO, has been at the forefront of transforming health care accreditation through the simplification of what was an overly complex, burdensome and costly process into a more streamlined approach and reliable indicator of patient care quality.
"Simplification leads to clarity and clarity allows the provider to discover and focus on quality improvements and services to their patients," Sandra Canally, CEO of TCT said.
As an industry thought leader for more than 50 years, it was Canally’s passionately held belief that “every patient deserves exemplary care," “health care delivery excellence should not be difficult or costly to achieve” and “Safety-Honest-Caring is what matters most to the patient," that has made accreditation more accessible to providers and ensured patient quality was at the forefront of every accreditation.
Nurse-owned and nurse-led, The Compliance Team has had the distinction since 2009 of being the only national accreditation organization certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
"It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since I left the nursing community to start The Compliance Team," Canally said. "Building a successful business in a volatile industry as healthcare has had its many challenges and rewards. Helping healthcare providers deliver the utmost care to their patients has always been our top priority. Our success reflects decades of healthcare, homecare, pharmacy, DMEPOS and operations-based experience and knowledge among our executive team, advisors, evaluators, and staff.
Today, The Compliance Team offers 30 accreditation and certification programs and has accredited more than 10,000 DMEPOS, pharmacy, infusion, rural health, health department and swing bed providers in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
