WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 16, 2021)—The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has briefly reopened the window for health care providers to submit Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Phase 1 reporting through Monday, Dec. 20, 2021 (11:59pm ET). Full text of the announcement was posted on the PRF reporting portal with no announcement/notice on the PRF homepage. The update reads in full:

The Reporting Portal will be open for the completion or submission of reports for Reporting Period 1 from December 13, 2021 at 9:00 am ET to December 20, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET.

PRF recipients who submitted a Reporting Period 1 report, but need to correct an error must contact the Provider Support Line (866-569-3522) to gain access to their submitted report. Resubmitted reports must also be received by Dec. 20, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET.

Reporting Period 2 will begin on Jan. 1, 2022. For additional information about PRF reporting, click here.

The deadline for Phase 1 reporting was originally set for Sept. 30, 2021. An additional 60-day grace period granted in mid-September effectively extended the deadline to Nov. 30.
