NORWICH, Connecticut—Assured Quality Homecare (ASQ), a Connecticut homecare agency, is launching the Healthy Mind Program, a specialized initiative that boosts cognitive function and overall well being for seniors living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Based on SAIDO Learning, this non-pharmacological program stimulates the brain through arithmetic, reading, and writing exercises tailored to the participant’s unique abilities. These tailored brain exercises offer cognitive stimulation that promotes mental activity and enhances the participant’s overall quality of life.
With the Healthy Mind program, Assured Quality Homecare trains Healthy Mind Supporters to deliver personalized sessions designed for maximum cognitive stimulation. ASQ has been training their own homecare workers in their Empower Training Academy since 2017. By training their own Healthy Mind Supporters, ASQ guarantees the quality and expertise of all their employees.
“I could not have asked for a more professional, caring, and competent team of caregivers for my husband,” says client Jeanette Holley.
“We’re proud to bring this groundbreaking program to the communities we serve,” says ASQ founder Samanta Roseme. “By helping individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia stay mentally active, we’re not just improving cognitive health—we’re enabling deeper, more meaningful connections with their loved ones for as long as possible.”
