Homecare Leader Guy Tommasi Joins Corcoran Consulting Group

NORTH HAVEN, Connecticut—Corcoran Consulting Group LLC announced the addition of Guy Tommasi, an authority in the realm of private duty non-medical homecare, to its team of experts.
 
In his capacity as Senior Vice President and Managing Consultant for Home Care Services, Tommasi will play a pivotal role in providing strategic counsel to Corcoran's homecare agency clients. His expertise will guide these agencies in aligning their operations, expanding their client base, bolstering their caregiving teams and showcasing their value to payers amidst the ever-evolving landscape of homecare.
 
Tommasi brings more than four decades of on-the-ground experience in non-medical homecare to Corcoran Consulting Group. As managing director at Guilford, Connecticut-based Lifetime Care at Home, he led the agency to boost its margins and achieve consistent profits. Under his vision and leadership, the agency became one of the first non-medical homecare agencies in the country to incorporate the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Quadruple Aim Value Based Care pillars into its care coordination model.  
 
Prior to this, Tommasi held key roles, including director of business and community development at Masonicare in Wallingford, Connecticut, director of business and strategic development at Omni Home Health Services in Meriden, Connecticut, and manager, emergency and trauma center, Hartford Hospital in Hartford.
 
Recognized as a regional and national speaker on the latest issues and trends in non-medical homecare, Tommasi has delivered more than two dozen presentations at events, most recently for the National Association for Home Care and Hospice, AGILE (Axxess, Growth, Innovation, Experience) and the Home Care Association of America.
 
Tommasi earned his master of science in health care management at Rensselaer at Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut, and his bachelor of science in health education at Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven.
