NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (May 29, 2020)—It brings HOMES’ Executive Committee great pleasure to announce that Jason Morin, most recently of Home Care Specialists Inc., based in Haverhill, Massachusettes, is the association’s new president and CEO. He will officially begin this new role June 1st.
Morin has 23 years’ experience in the HME industry as well as his MBA with Healthcare Concentration, is the current Chair of the AAH Payer Relations Council, and past chairman of HOMES. He is active in local and national HME advocacy efforts, is a registered Respiratory Therapist with acute, post-acute and homecare experience, and loves to play golf but admits he doesn't play very well.
He is excited to move HOMES forward and continue its reputation as one of the leading HME associations in the country. Morin is especially proud to be walking in the footsteps of Karyn Esrella’s size 5 shoes!
In the coming months, Morin and Lauryn Estrella will be working together to align skills and responsibilities, including sharing their experiences with one another. Estrella is especially excited about this decision. She served as our interim director since Karyn's passing last summer, and we are forever grateful for her commitment to HOMES She is particularly looking forward to working with Morin. To say she was elated at learning of Morin’s new role would be an understatement.
