OWINGS MILLS, Maryland—The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) Board of Directors announced the appointment of Jason R. Morin as a public member.
Morin is an executive leader with more than 20 years of experience in optimizing reimbursement operations and third-party payor relationships in the home medical equipment (HME) sector. Currently, Morin is senior manager payor relations for Coloplast, a global medical device company with the mission of improving the lives of people with intimate health care needs.
In his current role Morin collaborates with stakeholders across the industry to advance policy, regulation and legislation to ensure or increase access to medically appropriate medical supplies. Morin’s previous work experience includes serving as president and CEO of Home Medical Equipment & Services of New England (HOMES) as well as vice president of reimbursement and payer relations for Home Care Specialists, Inc.

Morin earned his MBA with a concentration in health care from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts and his undergraduate degree in respiratory care from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. He is the recipient of two HOMES acknowledgments, the Christopher J. Denmark Commitment to Excellence Award in 2017 and the Outstanding Volunteer Award in 2016. In addition to his BOC service, Morin is chair of the Massachusetts Board of Respiratory Care and a member of the Northern Essex Community College respiratory program advisory board. He presently resides in Massachusetts, with his wife, Renee, and two teenage sons.
