FORT WORTH, Texas (October 6, 2022)—Jet Health, Inc., a regional provider of home health and hospice services, announced its acquisition of Trio Home Health and Hospice located in Denton, Texas, a provider of home health services as well as hospice care throughout North Texas.

The acquisition marks Jet Health’s ninth since the company’s founding six years ago. It further solidifies Jet Health’s growth strategy to build a leading home health and hospice provider across the western and southwestern United States. On the heels of the close of the Trio Home Health and Hospice transaction, Jet Health will operate 10 Texas locations and employ 500 full-time health care professionals statewide.

Trio Home Health and Hospice will remain its own brand, operating under the Jet Health umbrella of companies, which includes assorted Klarus entities: Klarus Home Care and Personal Care, Klarus Home Care and Private Nursing, Klarus Home Care and Klarus Hospice. Drew Mize, Trio Home Health and Hospice chief executive officer, will continue to lead the Trio Home Health and Hospice subsidiary.

Trio Home Health and Hospice offers Denton and North Texas a wide range of health care services administered cost effectively in the home to patients with an illness or experiencing an injury. These services include, among others, skilled nursing care, physical, occupational and speech therapies and both cardiac and pulmonary care. Its service area extends to patients primarily residing in Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Decatur, Dallas and Fort Worth.

“This latest acquisition fills our quest to expand our geographic footprint within our primary service areas. We will now extend services beyond the Central Texas area where we currently have established our reputation to include North Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area,” Stacie Bratcher, Jet Health’s chief executive officer said.

“With each of the acquisitions Jet Health has completed of late, we have always remained focused on broadening both our offering while extending our reach. Texas marks the state with the most Jet Health-branded enterprises and is also home to our corporate headquarters. Now, with our 10 locations statewide, coupled with a strong, solid network of caregiving professionals throughout all our service areas, we are well positioned to meet the home healthcare and hospice needs of Texans,” Bratcher concluded.

“Trio Home Health and Hospice and Jet Health share similar missions, values, patient care approaches and corporate cultures,” said Mize. “By combining our organizations, the company will significantly bolster its growth trajectory as we can now care for more patients in need of the quality services we provide.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Funding for the transaction was provided by Silicon Valley Bank.
