ATLANTA—The van Halem Group announced Kit Shellhouse, director of business development, has been named as an associate board member to the Ohio Association of Medical Equipment Services (OAMES).
“Serving as an associate board member for OAMES is a privilege,” said Shellhouse. “To fight for our patients, state associations must continue to play a vital role in the business. Supporting providers from a local level to Capitol Hill on a state and national level is essential.”
Shellhouse has been a speaker, attended OAMES state association meetings and conferences, and filled the position of associate board member in the past. She said she is looking forward to contributing to and supporting the association.
OAMES is a non-profit trade organization established in February 1981 for the purpose of advocating the interests of home medical equipment (HME) providers throughout Ohio. OAMES is the premier Ohio source for industry business information, education, networking and a voice on state and national government issues affecting the HME services industry.
