LEWES, Del. — MedTix has opened a brick-and-mortar retail store and launched a Web site (www.medtix.com) for national sales of HME, according to CapeGazette.com.

The new company, accredited by The Joint Commission, was formed by Rehoboth Beach businessman Jack Berberian, among a core group of executives who launched services and helped raise funds for LegalZoom.com, the report said. Berberian spent the last three years as president and CEO of Harvard Business Services, which offers incorporation services in Delaware.

"In all my experience in those previous positons we were successful because we always looked at things through the eyes of customers: make things easy, friendly, accessible and competitively priced. Be fair, open and honest, and provide great value and a positive experience," Berberian told the Gazette. "That's a remarkably simple formula for great customer service. I've seen it work well in other situations, and I have every reason to expect it will work to the benefit of oru MedTix customers as well."

The company will offer HME and sleep products.
