The Freedom Series Folding Ramp was recognized by HME Business News & Mobility Management

VALLEY COTTAGE, New York—National Ramp, a manufacturer of mobility ramp solutions, won the 2024 HME Business New Product Award for the “Accessibility: Ramps Home” category and the 2024 Mobility Management Product Award for the “Accessibility” category for its Freedom Series Folding Ramp.

“We’re thrilled to win this award,” said Garth Walker, CEO of National Ramp. “The ramps are truly revolutionary for customers with mobility challenges. They can now feel much more confident and secure accessing any place they want to go.”

The innovative folding ramps can span up to 12 feet but fold down using a hinging method into a small footprint. They can also split into thirds, giving customers flexibility for simple transport. Available in three lengths—8’, 10’ and 12’—the Freedom Series Folding Ramp is made of the same high-quality, non-slip aluminum as National Ramp’s modular ramp options and has the same solid, stable underfoot feel.

Key benefits and features of the Freedom Series Folding Ramp include:

  • A three-fold system: Each size ramp folds into thirds, making them easy to move and extremely portable.
  • High quality, “no-bounce” construction: The high strength, lightweight aluminum leaves users feeling safe and secure throughout use.
  • Non-slip surface: The ramp’s milled, non-slip walking surface mirrors the modular ramp line and is more secure than less durable sandpaper veneers.
  • Built-in wheels: Users can easily transport the ramp using the built-in handle and wheels, avoiding the need to carry it.
  • Tool-free separation: The ramp can quickly be separated without tools into three sections for ease of transport.
  • High safety curb: The 3.5” safety curb on each side allows users to stay safe during use.

Like other National Ramp products, the Freedom Series Folding Ramps are made in the United States with precision
robotic technology and are available through certified National Ramp dealers.
