The company has acquired the hospice operations from Intrepid USA in cities across Missouri & Texas

MCKINNEY, Texas—New Day Healthcare, a home-based services provider, announced the acquisition of hospice operations in Missouri and Texas from Intrepid USA, a full-service home health agency. The company said these hospice operations aim to further its existing service line offerings and operations.

“We plan to provide multiple service lines in the markets we serve and expect to continue to expand those offerings, both within our footprint and in new markets,” said G. Scott Herman, CEO of New Day Healthcare. “The team members we are adding are best in class, and we are thrilled to welcome them to New Day. We expect a smooth transition as we welcome them on board.”

The acquisition covers Intrepid assets in Missouri’s Joplin and Springfield markets, as well as the Beaumont, Texas, market. The company said it aims to continue its growth efforts through these acquisitions, and has additional acquisitions expected to close over the next several months.

New Day has recently expanded to 30 locations across Texas, Missouri, Kansas and Illinois. The company employs approximately 7,800 team members in home health, hospice, pediatrics, clinical decision support and personal care, aiming to serve nearly 120,000 patients annually.
