OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (Feb. 27, 2014)—O2 Concepts, LLC announced Rob Kent has been appointed to serve in the newly created position of president and chief operating officer. Kent has served in various capacities within O2 Concepts for more than a year and most recently served as the manager of its testing, compliance and assurance operations. Kent has been instrumental in establishing O2 Concepts’ state-of-the-art portable oxygen concentrator, the OxLife Independence, as the industry leader in reliability and durability. In addition to continuing his role in leading O2’s manufacturing operations, Kent’s additional responsibilities include expanding O2’s domestic and global market penetration.

Prior to joining O2, Kent managed operating platforms for more than 15 years within the defense, aerospace and medical device industries. Kent holds a degree in economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
