(Sept. 19, 2013)—Pride Mobility Products Corporation announced an exclusive North American partnership with Autochair, a vehicle adaptations manufacturer and supplier based in the United Kingdom, on the distribution of the Milford Person Lift and Olympian AutoLift. This collaboration brings greater distribution to these industry-leading, life-enhancing products.
The Milford Person Lift is a highly adaptable and versatile wheelchair-to-vehicle transfer solution renowned to be quick and easy to operate for a wide range of people. With a lifting capacity of 330 pounds, the Milford Person Lift can be used in a range of environments, from transferring to a vehicle to the home and office or even while traveling. The Milford Person Lift works in a wide variety of vehicles. It can be fitted to the driver’s side, passenger’s side, middle and back seats, and it lifts quickly and easily with the touch of a button. With sling sizes from extra small to extra-large and amputee slings also available, the Milford Person Lift provides easy installation and stress-free use for both the patient and caregiver and offers emergency switches and optional manual operation.
The Olympian AutoLift for mobility products is strong, agile and aesthetically pleasing. Highly adjustable with sophisticated engineering, the Olympian AutoLift fits most vehicles and is easily removable and transferable. The Olympian AutoLift is available in two models: a 260-pound weight capacity and a 440-pound weight capacity. Engineered to complement any vehicle, the Olympian AutoLift is ideal for power chairs, mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs, and it comes complete with a tailored fitting kit. The Olympian AutoLift is remote controlled, powered by the vehicle battery and available in several color options.
