BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (July 23, 2021)—IntellaTriage, a provider of after-hours nurse-based triage and telehealth solutions, announced the addition of Rob Queener as vice president of operations. Queener will preside over all non-clinical operations at the company, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient, cost-effective systems that will drive IntellaTriage’s financial and patient care objectives.

Queener brings significant experience in operations management to the IntellaTriage team. He joins IntellaTriage from DaVita Kidney Care, where he managed a region of dialysis clinics, cultivated extensive relationships with key stakeholders and gained valuable experience in strategic health care operations. Prior to his time with DaVita, Queener served as a Platoon Commander and later Company Executive Officer for the U.S. Marine Corps. Queener earned his Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.

“I am incredibly motivated to move IntellaTriage and its clients forward through operational and organizational transformation,” Queener said. “I’m honored to join the team at this pivotal moment in IntellaTriage’s journey, especially at a time of significant opportunity for the hospice and home health industry. IntellaTriage is uniquely capable of helping providers improve their bottom line and ensure a positive patient experience, and I know its contributions will make a lasting imprint on the evolving landscape.”

IntellaTriage leverages the largest team of registered nurses to provide compassionate, round-the-clock care and telehealth services 365 days a year. Using a tailored approach for each client, IntellaTriage offers agencies and caregivers a direct line to trained nurses who operate above and beyond the traditional answering service. Triage nurses can handle up to 80% of hospice caller needs, such as medication refills, symptom management guidance and more.

“Rob has extensive experience creating processes that boost efficiency and drive growth,” said IntellaTriage CEO Daniel Reese. “With a national workforce shortage and an aging population driving intense demand for after-hours triage services, Rob’s insight and expertise are exactly what we need to continue on our path of success.”

IntellaTriage has seen more than 250% growth over the last five years in response to industry demand for its tech-enabled services. The addition of Queener comes at a pivotal time in the hospice and home health space as providers seek innovative staffing solutions to the ever-growing workforce shortage.
