BURLINGTON, Ontario (July 26, 2022)—VGM Canada has announced the newly-created Canadian HME Woman of the Year Award. Nominations are open now through Aug. 19, 2022.
The Canadian HME Woman of the Year Award is open to all women who work in the home medical equipment (HME) or mobility industry in Canada. Nominators are encouraged to provide examples of how the nominee has made significant contributions throughout her career to serve her patients, community, business, and the HME and mobility industry. Nominees can be suppliers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, manufacturers and other professionals in the HME or Mobility industry.
“We’re excited to introduce the Canadian HME Woman of the Year Award,” said Dave Davies, president of VGM Canada. “This award provides recognition and visibility to incredible leaders in our industry. There are so many deserving candidates out there. We all know a woman who has made significant contributions to the HME or mobility industry in Canada. We are excited to bring this award to our colleagues.”
Nominations must be submitted by Aug. 19 and can be made online by visiting the VGM Canada website at vgmcanada.com/woman-of-the-year. The 2022 winner will be selected by a committee of HME and mobility professionals.
The winner of this award will be announced during the Canadian Seating & Mobility Conference (CSMC) Oct. 20-21, 2022. More details on the ceremony will be released in the future.
