PORTLAND, Oregon—Voodoo Doughnut will continue its support of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) this year with its latest cherry cola flavored "Giving Doughnut." As part of its quarterly give-back campaign, Voodoo Doughnut is introducing the cherry cola doughnut, and a portion of proceeds will benefit AFA’s mission to provide critical programs, services and research for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

This is part of an ongoing partnership between Voodoo Doughnut and AFA, dating back several years. In 2021, the two partnered with the release of the limited edition "Homer Doughnut" on national doughnut day.

“The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is grateful for Voodoo Doughnut’s generosity as its customers will once again be raising funds to support our programs and services for families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related illnesses,” said Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr., president and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. “Every dollar raised through this collaboration will make a difference by providing help and hope to families caring for a loved one with dementia.”

The cherry cola doughnut is covered in cola frosting, contains bright cherry filling and topped with sweet fluff and a cola candy. This limited-edition doughnut is available at participating Voodoo Doughnut locations now through July 7.

"Alzheimer’s impacts so many lives in different ways, and we’re honored to support the work of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America," said Chris Schultz, Voodoo Doughnut CEO. "Their efforts bring hope and resources to individuals and families facing this disease, and we’re humbled to continue our partnership in support of their vital mission.”
